My father is recovering...

It has been a stressful month. As I write this from the hotel room near the hospital, I can tell you my father's surgery went very well and he is now recovering from the operation. They removed half of his left lung and everything seems to indicate that they got all of it before it spread any further. Now all he has to do is get better from the surgery.

My children are too young to know or understand what is going on. They did get to visit their grandparents a week ago and of course loved seeing Ja-Joe and Nana.
